GRO4U is the name of our campaign to get people growing their own. You can grow produce all year round and it’s now time to start thinking about autumn planting for winter crops. Check out our growing chart (download it here) to see what you can plant now.

We have our own model allotment that takes up almost an acre of space at the nursery. Of course not many of us are lucky enough to have such a huge space but you can visit it and take inspiration from the different areas within the allotment and maybe adopt one or two ideas for your own garden. It is amazing what you can grow in the smallest of areas and you can keep chickens in a secure coop and run in most gardens.

In these cost-conscious times, growing your own food has never been more in vogue! We are huge advocates of local ingredients - we sell them in the shop here and carry the ethos through to the coffee shop where everything is made on the premises using as many locally sourced ingredients as possible. We are members of HEFF and Fairtrade accredited.

We are stocking everything you need from seeds, plants, compost, feed and garden tools - all supported with helpful advice and guidance from the team here at The Plant Plot.
